We are sad to announce that our good friends of Vanir have decided to part ways. We wish them all the best of luck with their other projects, but silently hope to see them back together someday. Their creativity and enthusiasm has inspired us these last few years and we would like to thank them for that, but also for all the gigs we played with them. Thanks to Mitch, Bart, Timo, Martijn, Matthias, Pascal, Antonio and Myron.

Encorion has teamed up with Power Folk Bookings, an epic booking agency specialising in pagan and folk metal. They organise shows, festivals and raids throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Their first Power Folk Festival will take place the 28th of august 2010 at the Azijnfabriek in Roermond, NL. Lined up for this epic festival are Encorion, Chain of Dogs, Myrkvar and more...

It has been a while since we've had some news about our album 'Facing History and Ourselves', so we thought it would be wise to give you guys an update on how things are going. As you might know, our record was mixed and mastered by Jacco de Wijs from Conorach, who did a great job, and we are really thankful that he took this job upon him. However, we were not completely satisfied with the result and therefore never really took the effort to find a record label to release the album. Some weeks ago we decided to do the mixing part 'all over again' and agreed to try it ourselves this time. The title song 'Facing History and Ourselves' is almost done and will soon be available for listening at our Myspace page. We hope to get some comments and will do some tweaking afterwards. When the song is finished, we'll hurry to get the whole album mixed and sent to some record labels. So, please hang in there, as we lay the final touch on Encorion's debut album 'Facing History and Ourselves', and don't forget to check the Myspace page now and then!
